In the Kitchen

I'm going to be honest, I have barely been cooking lately. Baking, I have no problem with, which is also leading to muffins and cake far too frequently throughout the day. Yes day, not week. woof. I tend to eat breakfast for breakfast, lunch, and dinner because {1} I really like it, and {2} it's easy. I want to start trying a new recipe at least once a week.


I need to keep trying different salads and bring some more vegetables in my life. Any recommendations?

Avocado and chicken is my new favorite combo! It always tastes fresh and has such a great creaminess to it! My new favorite salad is kale salad with a caesar vinaigrette topped with a little fresh grated parmesan. I love it!

My favorite is sliced apple & pecan salad. I put it over spinach with grilled chicken, crumbled blue cheese (or feta), dried cranberries, and then top it with raspberry vinaigrette! It's one of my favorites.

yum! i'm definitely trying to cook more myself and trying to cook healthy. i'm super excited to try zucchini tots for our burgers this weekend!

I try to cook for myself as often as possible, but sometimes it gets away from me. On the days that I don't have time, I totally reach for breakfast, too!

These are fabulous recipe ideas & the salads look delicious! I've got to try & cook more myself to be honest, I NEVER do these days but keep saying I'm going to start... this definitely gives me the inspiration to get going on the cooking!
