Yes, I did make those leather panel leggings mine from awhile back. They are actually pretty nice quality for good 'ole F21 and not to mention extremely comfortable. I just can't help that I love a classic black look for fall. That being said, I told myself I was going to try to incorporate more prints and color in my closet. This H&M peplum top is becoming one of my favorite pieces in my closet- I love the mix of colors. Yes, I would like to put them on a canvas one day.

 Note to self: DIY project in the near future.

Just some of the essentials that have been getting me through the beginning of fall. I can't wait to pull out more of my favorite boots, jackets, and scarves and get to a pumpkin patch!

Trend Talk

I plan on easing my way into this trend and sporting some metallic polish first and foremost. Then I'm fairly confident that I'll be ready to sport some metallic bottoms. I absolutely adore these shorts and skirt-pair them with a basic tee to add some texture to your look! Now, these shoes on the other hand...a tad out of my comfort zone but I mean the J.Crew cap toes? Ahhh-mazing.

So what's the verdict? Will you be sporting metallics this fall?

Black and White

Happy Friday all! Hope you all enjoyed some kind of FNO activities last night! I went with a black & white dotted look for the evening. I have been waiting to bust out these gorgeous BCBG leggings since last season, and FNO seemed like just the right occasion..

Transitioning: White

Wear white in the fall? Why yes, yes you can, and I will. I'm the type of person who loves to restyle a piece and make it feel like I've never worn it before.  That's exactly what I did here and what I plan to do throughout the fall.  I want to reinvent how I have worn white and pair it with new fall pieces. You with me?

We had our mini-road trip last night and things are officially in full swing with the wedding festivities.  The bride {Boyfriend B's sister}, Maid of Honor, and I will be heading to Chicago today for some necessary pampering while the rest of the crew gets their golf on.  Not bad scheduling at all if I do say so myself.  Now, all I want to do is put on this outfit, blast Walking on Sunshine and explore Chicago.

Layered Denim

I am usually one to say that you need to go through your closet every six months to reorganize and reevaluate your pieces.  In this particular case, I'm really glad my mom didn't do that because then I wouldn't have this fabulous Levi's denim vest to layer with everything.

Friday's Favorites

Today, I had to share some of my favorites lately.  Speaking of sharing, head on over to Christin's fabulous blog, With a C.H., where I am sharing  five things about myself on this fine Friday. Christin's the bomb dot com so show her some love. People still say the bomb dot com right?!

Anyways, I have had some serious will power this past week {fist pump for my bank account}.  I took a quick break from school work on Wednesday and tried on these pants and this sweater and don't know how I left Anthropologie and J.Crew without them.

I first saw this Rebecca Minkoff stunner in Bop and realized I do not have any navy bags nor any colored bags for that matter. I think she would get along really well with my black and brown lovelies.

So there you have it. Those are the current favorites on my list. I need to choose one as a graduation present to myself.  That's normal right? Right.

Wishful Wednesday

Somewhere along the way while creating this wish list, I created an outfit.  Now, for the summer, I would definitely pair this to-die-for maxi with a white tank top for a great contrast with the baubles, but on a chillier night, the long sleeve floral Topshop piece would be a great addition of pattern and pastel.

A-Z Series: R is For

Happy Valentine's Day! I have really been feeling the love lately in the blogosphere, and I can't thank you enough-it truly means the world to me! 

Not going to lie, I did a little happy dance at my computer when Mackenzie agreed to participate in the A-Z Series. Design Darling is one of my all time favorite blogs, and words cannot describe my excitement for Design Darling {the boutique}. Mackenzie is constantly inspiring and not to mention shares fabulous finds at handsome prices (i.e. budget friendly). I could not be more excited to have her with us today.

Red and pink because, really, has there ever been a more festive color combo? Especially on Miss Emma Stone... Red lipstick because there's no easier way to feel instantly chic!
