On the Go

Happy Friday, all! I feel like I'm pretty much getting back into the groove of being a normal human being again so cheers to that.  I have also fully enjoyed getting a lot of wear out of my new Japan purchases.

It's been crazy hot since I've been home but when I run errands I get cold. Let's break this down. You're hot so you wear a tank top but then have to go to the grocery store and if you're like me you naturally end up in the frozen dessert aisle and helllllo freezing. See what I mean? That's where this outfit comes in to play. I have been in need of shorts + long sleeves for the transitions from outside to inside throughout the day.  It's easy and light and you can mix up the jewelry or throw on a new pair of shoes and you're good to go for a summer night. This will quickly become one of my go-to looks.

I'm 99% sure I'm taking an impulse drive down to Chicago this weekend and cannot wait! I think I just ruined the impulsivity of that by posting about it but oh well, I'm excited.  What do you have going on this weekend?

Hey Carly!

We used to Irish dance with you at Trinity (but in Chicago) and we finally got our blog's act together and followed you! It looks like you had an amazing time in Japan. :) We hope you'll check out our blog and follow it if you like what you see!

Definitely chambray obsessed right now. It can dress down outfits effortlessly.

You look so cute! I need to jump on this chambray situation! And one of the main reasons I hate the grocery store is bc of how cold it is. brr! xoxo

Loveee this look! Chambray is always a favorite. And you're so right... the frozen dessert section of the grocery store + tank top and shorts just doesn't cut it. Freezing!
