Wedding Bliss

This weekend was spent celebrating some of my dearest friends. I was thrilled to be a part of their big day, and man was it an amazing weekend. Here are some of my favorite shots I snapped throughout the weekend, but I will be highlighting more of this wedding as soon as we get the incredible photographers' pictures. The bride did all of the design work, and there were some beautiful DIY projects involved so obviously I have to share.

Cheers to you, Lexi and Willie! You both deserve a lifetime of happiness! xo

More Wedding Bells

This October, I got to dedicate a post to Boyfriend B's sister S and her wonderful fiance D (always fun to say)!  And this December, I am happy to send along more well wishes and congratulations to Boyfriend B's cousin and her newest hubby-to-be.  Miss L texted me on Monday and then I proceeded to call her and talk so fast and high that she couldn't understand a word I said.  Whatever, at least she knew I was excited right?  So now, in her and W's honor, here is another wonderful wedding post to get those ideas flowing.  Godspeed on the planning ladies.

Cake is important and must always be included in these posts.  It must also taste heavenly.  This cake is simple and elegant, and I love that there is only added detail on the third tier.   I'll take two slices to go.  Please and thank you.

Rehearsal dinner dress much?  Love the sparkle.  Love everything. The only thing I don't love is that Pinterest won't lead to the website where I can actually find this dress. How does this happen? Someone had to upload it from somewhere.  Dream dress where are you?

Love that I have no idea how this is even done.  It's like an art piece for the hair.  A beautiful, beautiful piece of art.

Mini-champanges for the bridal party the morning of the big day, well and the bride I guess.  Slurp, slurp, slurp.  Sorry, I mean...I would drink it very elegantly.

I'll take five in grey please for the future day long, long away.  Thanks wedding fairy godmother.

This link also leads me nowhere, but I am fully capable of making this happen for S and L on their  big days!  It's the little things right?

And how else could I end this post but with the most perfect sweatheart neckline I have yet to see? Simply stunning.

Best of luck to both beautiful ladies and to anyone else out there planning away!  Fill me in on the details.  I'll live vicariously through you if you don't mind.

Happy Wedding Planning!

I may or may not have been overly excited about my boyfriend's sister's engagement yesterday...it's no secret that I am a teeny, tinny bit obsessed with weddings.  Congrats again D and S!  Could not be happier for the two of you, and I am already anxiously awaiting the big day.

What better excuse than a recent engagement of a wonderful couple to post some of my wedding finds on...you guessed it...Pinterest.  I can find almost every amazing picture from wedding blogs all in one spot.  It's just too easy. Delayed shout out to my old roomie BB who got me hooked on Pinterest in the first place while she was gallivanting around Europe this summer.

Maybe wouldn't play bags the day of, but for an engagement party this is just amazing and too good not to include in this post.

Bridesmaid dress.  I love. Can use any color in the bouquet you want.

Simple and elegant. And hopefully delicious.  Is it bad that I hope my cake tastes even better than it looks?  Chocolate and frosting are two important parts of my life.

Love the sweetheart top and silhouette.  Us short petite girls need to be careful that it doesn't look like we're wearing a nightgown or that we're even shorter than we really are on the big day.

Polaroid guestbook.  Ensures you get a picture of everyone and something fun to look at.  I personally think all writing is a tad bit daunting to go back through.

Serious question: How do you ever decide what to do for your table numbers?  Here's just one option, but there are just an infinite amount it seems like.  I think I could do a whole post on this, but I won't because it would just stress me out, and I'm not even engaged.

Happy planning to all you lovebirds out there! Boyfriend B if you're reading this, don't stress.  Just because I love them doesn't mean I'm expecting a ring rock anytime soon :)

Do you have any wedding ideas you love?  Are you planning a wedding right now? Tell me, tell me!

Why hello, it's been awhile...

What can I say?  I didn't hold up my end of the bargain about blogging more often.  Time to re-focus and get back at it :) Today is my first official day as a blogger.

I'm thinking of adding a new spin to my blog.  As I begin my last year at what I would refer to as the best college around, UW-Madison, I am slowly beginning the job search to become a REAL teacher.  Who would've thought that after five years, I would finally see that day?? While I love everything about teaching, especially the little nuggets, I am also always on a fashion/interior design/wedding blog.  I'm a little ahead of myself on the whole wedding thing, but what can I say I'm a sap for them plus my amazing roommate is too.  Speaking of my roommate and weddings, we're  about to watch new Say Yest to the Dress from last night.  Yes, I should be watching the Badger game, and yes, I most definitely should be working on my pages and pages of reading for next week, but oh well.  That's what updates on my phone are for right??

Here are some of my wedding inspiration pictures from Pinterest:

 Simple and elegant.
 Purple perfection.
Why hello pockets.

Okay, now back to reality.  I got to meet my AMAZING first graders yesterday.  It was Packer day-- meant to be.  This will be a huge adventure for me, and I am looking forward to learning tons and tons from my seriously incredible Cooperating Teacher (CT), and I'm looking forward to sharing it on this blog!

Last but not least, shout out to my beloved Brewers!! Being a Wisconsin sports fan has been pretty fantastic this past year.
