Remember when I was obsessing over BaubleBar last week and in major need of some arm candy? Well, I got inspired by the fabulous Lauren of Stylized Existence and used two necklaces last week to create my first arm parties.
Feedback from third graders:
On the red pants: "Wow, your pants are...different."
On the necklace as a bracelet:
"Um, Ms. H, you have on a lot of bracelets."
"It's actually a necklace."
"Ohhhhhh...[walks away, unimpressed]"

What are your thoughts on using necklaces as bracelets? Are you as skeptical as my third graders?
I'm clearly all for it, especially when I'm on a spending freeze. It's great to use what you have in a different way. Makes me love these pieces even more.
Today, you can find me over at Living Savvy chatting about closet organization! Thanks so much for having me, Tiffany!

ReplyDeleteI have been doing this for a few years and love your third graders reactions because it perfectly describes the mixed reactions I get. Some people love it and others are like "you know that is supposed to go on your neck, right?" :)

ReplyDeleteI used to always double up my necklaces! It's a great way to give jewelry multipurposes. Kids adrenal so funny when it comes to fashion!

ReplyDeleteLOVE the idea of using necklaces as bracelets! I did it recently and I liked it a lot. I don't have many necklaces I can do it with though. Super cute :)
